MLB: Milwaukee 8, Pittsburgh 7 (11 inn.)

MILWAUKEE, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Lorenzo Cain's 11th-inning single chased home Ryan Braun with the winning run Saturday, handing Milwaukee an 8-7 decision over Pittsburgh.

Braun led off the frame with a single and advanced to second when Pittsburgh second baseman Neil Walker muffed Prince Fielder's grounder for an error.

One out later, Cain delivered the game-winning hit off Will Ledezma (0-1) and Milwaukee clinched its three-game series with the Bucs.

Fielder smashed a pair of homers -- his 27th and 28th of the year -- and Cain ended the night with a pair of RBI for Milwaukee.

Kameron Loe (3-3), the Brewers' seventh pitcher, picked up the victory after tossing a scoreless top of the 11th.

Walker, Jose Tabata and Chris Snyder all homered for the Pirates.
