MLB: LA Dodgers 9, New York Yankees 4

LOS ANGELES, June 26 (UPI) -- James Loney knocked in four runs Saturday to boost the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 9-4 victory over the New York Yankees in an inter-league game.

Loney's two-run single in the third inning erased a 4-2 Yankees lead and Los Angeles then took the lead for good when Manny Ramirez came home on Russell Martin's double-play groundout.

Loney also hit a sacrifice fly and drove in a run with an RBI single in the fourth inning and Rafael Furcal went 3-for-5, scored three runs and drove in one as Los Angeles bounced back from a Friday loss to New York and take the second contest of a three-game series at Dodger Stadium.

Hiroki Kuroda (7-5) collected the victory despite allowing four runs on seven hits over 5 1/3 innings.

A.J. Burnett (6-7) was torched for six runs on six hits in just three innings for the Yankees.

Mark Teixeira slammed a three-run homer in the first innings for New York.
