SEATTLE, May 26 (UPI) -- Milton Bradley had three RBI Tuesday, including the go-head run in the eighth inning, in the Seattle Mariners' 5-3 win over Detroit.
Bradley and Franklin Gutierrez both homered to help the Mariners pick up their third win in their last 10 outings.
Shawn Kelley (3-0) notched the win by pitching the eighth in relief of Doug Fister, who gave up three runs – two earned -- on nine hits in seven innings. David Aardsma was credited with his 10th save.
Justin Verlander (5-3) struck out eight but was hung with the loss after yielding five runs on seven hits in 7 2/3 innings. Brian Inge homered for Detroit, which has lost three of four.
Verlander served up a two-run homer to Bradley in the first inning. The runs were the first driven in by Bradley since May 1.
Gutierrez connected for a solo home run in the sixth that tied the game 3-3. Bradley touched Verlander again in the eighth with a single that drove in the go-ahead run.
