Americans to play for ATP team title

DUSSELDORF, Germany, May 21 (UPI) -- Brothers Bob and Mike Bryan won a key doubles match Friday that put the United States into the finals of the ATP World Team Championship.

The Bryans defeated Tomas Berdych and Lukas Dlouhy 7-5, 7-5, giving the Americans a 2-1 decision over the Czech Republic. The United States completed a perfect march through the Red Group, setting up a best-of-three meeting with Argentina for the title.

The Americans have not won the event in 17 years.

Argentina posted a 3-0 record to win the Blue Group.
