NBA: Charlotte 105, New Jersey 95

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., April 12 (UPI) -- Stephen Jackson notched 17 points and Gerald Henderson contributed 14 Monday as the Charlotte Bobcats downed New Jersey 105-95.

The game was the final NBA contest to be played at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, N.J. The Nets will play their home games next year at the Prudential Center in Newark while they await the construction of a new arena in Brooklyn.

Jackson grabbed nine rebounds while Tyrus Thomas chipped in with 13 points, Raymond Felton had 12, D.J. Augustin donated 11 and Boris Diaw and Larry Hughes each contributed 10 in the win.

The victory guaranteed Charlotte the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. The Bobcats will draw second-seeded Orlando in the first round of the playoffs.

Devin Harris put in a game-high 22 points while Terrence Williams added 21 points, 13 rebounds and six assists in the Nets' defeat.
