NBA: Denver 98, Los Angeles Clippers 90

DENVER, April 3 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony pumped in 24 points and Nene added 18 Saturday as the Denver Nuggets downed the Los Angeles Clippers 98-90.

Nene grabbed seven rebounds while Chauncey Billups and Johan Petro each contributed 14 points as the Nuggets won their second straight game.

With the win, they pulled into a first-place tie with idle Utah in the Northwest Division.

Eric Gordon led the Clippers with 23 points while Chris Kaman ended with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
