MEMPHIS, April 2 (UPI) -- A 27-point performance by O.J. Mayo helped Memphis keep its faint playoff hopes alive Friday with a 107-96 decision over New Orleans.
Memphis, which ended a three-game losing streak, began the night seven games behind San Antonio for the final playoff berth in the Western Conference. A loss to New Orleans would have eliminated the Grizzlies from post-season contention.
