NBA: Cleveland 97, Sacramento 90

CLEVELAND, March 28 (UPI) -- LeBron James heated up in the second half Sunday, scoring 23 of his 34 points late and sparking the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 97-90 win over Sacramento.

James distributed eight assists and hauled down seven rebounds as the Cavaliers boosted their season's record to 58-16, good for the top seed in the Eastern Conference, 6 1/2 games ahead of Orlando.

Antawn Jamison poured in 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while J.J. Hickson and Anthony Parker each contributed 10 for Cleveland.

Beno Udrih's mid-range jumper got Sacramento to within four at 94-90 with 2 1/2 minutes to go but James answered with a 3-pointer with 2 minutes remaining to give Cleveland a seven-point margin.

The Kings were led by Andres Nocioni with 21 points off the bench while Udrih recorded his first career triple-double with 18 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds.
