OXFORD, Miss., March 17 (UPI) -- Terrico White pumped in 27 points Wednesday to power Mississippi to an 84-65 rout of Troy in a first-round National Invitational Tournament game.
White pulled down seven boards, Chris Warren contributed 16 points, and Murphy Holloway and Terrance Henry each donated 11 as second-seeded Ole Miss (22-10) advanced to face Memphis in the second round.

Mississippi unleashed a tough defense to hold the Trojans to only 2-of-13 shooting in the first half as they established a commanding 45-30 lead at the half.
Brandon Hazzard put in 22 points to pace Troy (20-13), which also got 16 points from Michael Volger in the defeat.
