ST. PAUL, Minn., March 7 (UPI) -- Jarome Iginla notched his second hat trick of the season Sunday to lift the Calgary Flames to a 5-2 decision over Minnesota.

After the Wild had pulled to within one on Guillaume Latendresse's second tally of the game, Iginla scored only a few seconds into a two-man Calgary advantage to make it 4-2 with less than 7 minutes to go in regulation.

He later added an empty-net tally for the final margin. Mark Giordano added a goal and an assist for the victors while Vesa Toskala, making his Calgary debut in goal, made 27 saves.

Latendresse's two goals gave him 23 for the year and Niklas Backstrom made 19 saves for the Wild.
