NBA: Utah 100, Golden State 89

OAKLAND, Calif., Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Carlos Boozer netted 30 points and grabbed 16 rebounds Friday to power the Utah Jazz to a 100-89 decision over Golden State.

Andrei Kirilenko contributed 22 points and C.J. Miles added 16 off the bench as the Jazz moved to 3-0 on its current four-game road trip and won for the 12th time in 13 games.

Utah was also tough on defense, holding Golden State to 37.2 percent shooting from the floor.

The Warriors were led by C.J. Watson, who came off the bench to rack up 22 points, while Corey Maggette added 14 points and Stephen Curry chipped in with 13.

Golden State lost despite the return of star guard Monta Ellis, who took to the floor after missing four games because of a sprained left knee. Ellis scored six points and dished six assists.
