NBA: Memphis 86, New Orleans 84

MEMPHIS, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- A jump shot by Rudy Gay with 1.3 seconds remaining Friday gave Memphis a franchise record 10th consecutive home win -- 86-84 over Oklahoma City.

Kevin Durant tied it for Oklahoma City with 2 minutes to play and neither side could score again until Gay tossed up the game-winning shot.

Durant, who scored 30 points, missed a 3-point attempt at the buzzer.

O.J. Mayo missed an attempt to put Memphis in front with 17 seconds to play, but Marc Gasol grabbed the offensive rebound to give the Grizzlies another chance. Gay and Zach Randolph each scored 25 points and Gasol contributed 15 points to go with 13 rebounds.

The Thunder had won their previous three games.

Durant reached the 25-point mark for the 17th straight game, extending his team record.
