NBA: Charlotte 102, Houston 94

CHARLESTON, N.C., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Stephen Jackson scored a career-high 43 points Tuesday, lifting the Charlotte Bobcats to a 102-94 victory over Houston.

Jackson was a sizzling 15-of-22 from the field and 10-of-11 from the free-throw line. He also pulled down eight rebounds. Boris Diaw chipped in with 19 points, seven rebounds and six assists for Charlotte.

Ronald Murray came off the bench to add 14 points for the Bobcats, who overcame a 60-50 halftime deficit.

Trevor Ariza scored 19 points and Luis Scola registered a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds for Houston.
