NFL: New England 35, Jacksonville 7

FOXBOROUGH, Mass., Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Tom Brady threw four scoring passes and the New England Patriots clinched first-place in the AFC East with a 35-7 victory Sunday over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Three of Brady's touchdown throws were to Randy Moss, for 2, 6 and 7 yards, and the other was a 26-yarder to Chris Baker.

Brady completed 26-of-26 passes for 267 yards.

Wes Welker caught 13 passes for 138 yards and Sammy Morris ran for 95 yards and a touchdown for New England 10-5, which dealt a severe blow to the playoff hopes of the Jaguars (7-8).

David Garrard threw for was 19-of-25 passing for 185 yards and ran 2 yards for a score for Jacksonville, which trailed 28-0 at the half.
