DALLAS, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Jason Terry scored 12 of his 23 points in the fourth period Saturday, leading Dallas to a 106-101 win over Memphis.

The longtime shooting guard sank four free throws in the final 20 seconds after earlier sinking two free throws and two 3-pointers.

Dallas trailed 30-24 after the first, but took a 79-77 advantage in to the final 12 minutes.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 20 with four rebounds and three assists.

Erick Dampier scored 13 with 10 rebounds and three blocked shots.

Jose Juan Barea and Josh Howard scored 11 points apiece, while Jason Kidd added 10 points, 10 assists and three steals for the Mavericks, who have won two of three.

Zach Randolph's 27 points with 14 rebounds led Memphis.

Rudy Gay scored 22 with 10 rebounds.

O.J. Mayo scored 18 with five rebounds and five assists, and Marc Gasol added 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who had won three in a row.
