MIAMI, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Rudy Gay scored a career-high 41 points Sunday, leading the Memphis Grizzlies in a 118-90 rout at Miami.

It was just their third road win this season.

Gay sank 15-of-28 shots, including 3-of-4 3-pointers.

Memphis followed a 62-49 lead with a 31-18 third period, and Miami never closed its deficit to less than 26 points before the contest ended.

Marc Gasol and O.J. Mayo scored 16 points apiece, with Gasol adding 15 rebounds, while Zach Randolph added 13 points and seven rebounds for the Grizzlies, who have won four of five.

Dwyane Wade led Miami with 25 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Reserve Dorell Wright scored 16 with four rebounds and Jermaine O'Neal scored 12 points for the Heat, who have lost four of five.

Miami guard Quentin Richardson missed the game with a sore right hamstring.
