DENVER, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony scored 30 points and Chauncey Billups added 21 for the Denver Nuggets in their 112-93 victory over Chicago Saturday.
Anthony came close to a triple-double by finishing with 11 rebounds and seven assists in addition to his 30 points.
Derrick Rose scored 28 points for the Bulls. Luol Deng scored 22.
The Nuggets trailed 52-49 at halftime but outscored the Bulls 26-19 in the third quarter and 37-22 in the fourth quarter.
Denver's J.R. Smith scored 12 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter, including a pair of 3-pointers that put the Nuggets up 89-77 with around 8 minutes to play.
Anthony scored a pair of baskets and assisted on slam dunks by Smith and Chris Andersen during a 10-2 lead that extended Denver's lead to 99-81 with 5 minutes to play.
