NORMAN, Okla., Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford, who missed three games with an injury, gets the start Saturday against Baylor, Sooners Coach Bob Stoops said.

"Sam has had a great week of practice and is ready to play," Stoops said "We're obviously excited to have him back."

Bradford, the 2008 Heisman Trophy winner, hasn't played since spraining his right shoulder in Oklahoma's season-opening 14-13 loss to BYU.

Freshman Landry Jones played quarterback in Bradford's absence.

"We remain very pleased with the work Landry Jones did in replacing Sam and our entire program has a lot of confidence in his ability," Stoops said.

Oklahoma is 2-2 and ranked No. 21.
