Cabrera-Bello wins European Tour event

VIENNA, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Rafael Cabrera-Bello captured his first European Tour title Sunday, firing an 11-under-par 60 for a come-from-behind victory in the Austrian Open in Vienna.

The Spaniard, who was eight shots back entering the final round, finished at 20-under 264, overtaking Benn Barham, who led after each of the first three rounds.

Barham finished second, carding a 69 for for 266. Soren Hansen (68) was third at 267.

"I really still don't believe I won," Cabrera-Bello said. "I was so far back that in the beginning I wasn't thinking about winning. Then, I started playing really good and didn't want to get myself thinking about whether I could or couldn't (win), because you shouldn't be thinking that stuff on the course."

Cabrera-Bello shot 30 on each nine at the Fontana Golf Club, breaking the course record. He birdied seven holes in a nine-hole stretch and took the lead for good with a 9-foot birdie putt at No. 16.
