MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Michael Cuddyer's three hits and three RBI Wednesday led Minnesota to a 7-3 rout of Cleveland, completing a three-game sweep.

Cuddyer fell a triple short of hitting for the cycle with a third-inning RBI single, a solo homer in the fifth, and an RBI double in the seventh.

Joe Mauer had two hits and two RBI. Both Denard Span and Jose Morales had two hits and one RBI, while Matt Tolbert had two hits for the Twins, who have won four in a row.

Winner Nick Blackburn (10-11) surrendered two runs and eight hits in 6 1/3 innings.

Closer Joe Nathan earned his 41st save by fanning the last two batters.

Matt LaPorta led Cleveland with three hits -- one a two-run homer -- and three RBI.

Michael Brantley, Kelly Shoppach, and Shin-Soo Choo had two hits apiece for the Indians, who have lost eight of nine.

The losing pitcher was starter Aaron Laffey (7-6).
