MLB: Boston 18, Baltimore 10

BALTIMORE, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Boston's Victor Martinez drove in four runs and the Red Sox produced 23 hits Sunday, overpowering the Baltimore Orioles 18-10.

Martinez batted 5-for-6, Mike Lowell and J.D. Drew each drove in three runs, and John Reddick homered in Boston's fourth straight win.

Reliever Manny Delcarmen (4-2) picked up the win, allowing a hit and two runs in 1 2/3 innings.

Adam Jones homered and drove in three runs, Nick Markakis added three RBI and Ty Wiggington slugged a two-run home run for the Orioles, who have dropped eight of their last 11 games.

Loser Jason Berken (1-9), the Baltimore starter, was battered for six runs and seven hits in just 1 1/3 innings.
