NEW YORK, July 28 (UPI) -- Mike Pelfrey pitched 6 1/3 scoreless innings Tuesday in the New York Mets' 4-0 victory over the Colorado Rockies.

Pelfrey (8-6) scattered seven hits and three walks to start off the Mets' fourth straight win. Pedro Feliciano pitched 1 2/3 perfect innings and Sean Green preserved the shutout with a scoreless ninth.

David Murphy was 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and an RBI.

Colorado's Jason Marquis (12-7) three runs on seven hits in six innings. Todd Helton and Troy Tulowitzki each had two hits for the Rockies.
