MLB: Tampa Bay 6, Baltimore 3

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., May 5 (UPI) -- Evan Longoria drove in three runs Tuesday to pace the Tampa Bay Rays to a 6-3 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

Starter Matt Garza (3-2) pitched into the ninth while allowing three runs on four hits and two walks for Tampa, which has won four of its last six games. B.J. Upton and Carl Crawford each had an RBI and a run for the Rays.

Koji Uehara (2-3) took the loss after giving up six runs on seven hits with eight strikeouts for Baltimore, which has lost seven of eight.

Brian Roberts hit a two-run homer Gregg Zaun had a solo homer for the Orioles' runs.
