MINNEAPOLIS, May 3 (UPI) -- The Kansas City Royals used a five-run seventh inning that featured a three-run homer by Jose Guillen Sunday to overcome Minnesota 7-5.
Twins pitcher Scott Baker (0-4) had a 4-0 lead and had not given up a hit until the Royals got five off him in the seventh. The rally included a two-run double by Alberto Callaspo.

Michael Cuddyer drove in a pair of runs and Justin Morneau had three hits, including two doubles, for Minnesota.
Gil Meche (2-2) was the winner, allowing four runs and seven hits in six innings.
Loser Baker gave up five runs and five hits, all in the seventh.
