CLEVELAND, April 24 (UPI) -- Justin Morneau had two RBI Friday and Nick Blackburn allowed a run over seven innings, leading the Minnesota Twins past Cleveland 5-1.

Blackburn (1-1) gave up six hits, struck out four and did not walk a batter. He won all three of his starts against Cleveland last season.

Morneau gave the Twins a 2-1 lead in the fourth with his fourth homer of the year. He also had an RBI ground out during Minnesota's two-run seventh.

Fausto Carmona (1-3) took the loss, allowing five runs on eight hits in six-plus innings.

Carmona received far less run support than he had in his previous outing. The Indians scored 22 runs for him last Saturday in a mauling of the New York Yankees.
