NBA: Memphis 98, Atlanta 90

MEMPHIS, April 16 (UPI) -- O.J. Mayo's 26 points and five rebounds Wednesday paced the Memphis Grizzlies' season-ending 98-90 win over the Atlanta Hawks.

The playoff-bound Hawks chose to rest their key players before facing the fifth-seeded Miami Heat when the post-season starts this weekend.

Memphis held a 53-43 halftime advantage, and sealed the victory with an 11-2 run in the fourth.

Rudy Gay scored 20 with three assists and three blocked shots.

Marc Gasol scored 19 with eight rebounds.

Hakim Warrick scored 15 with four rebounds, while Mike Conley added 12 with five rebounds, seven assists and three steals for the Grizzlies, who stopped their two-game skid, but finished the season with a 24-58 record.

Atlanta was led by Flip Murray's 29 points, six assists and three rebounds. Maurice Evans, the only other player in double figures, scored 21 with five rebounds for the Hawks, who had won four in a row.
