NHL: Columbus 3, Detroit 2 (OT)

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Rick Nash's score with 1:33 remaining in overtime completed a hat track Tuesday that gave the Columbus Blue Jackets a 3-2 win over Detroit.

Nash also had a power-play goal and shorthanded a goal in regulation. The Columbus captain posted his third career hat trick and first of the season. Steve Mason made 21 saves for the Blue Jackets.

Marian Hossa and Brett Lebda scored for the Red Wings, who have lost three games in a row. Chris Osgood made 20 saves in the loss.

Detroit was playing without forward Pavel Datsyuk and defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom, who served one-game suspensions for not attending the All-Star Game festivities this past weekend. Both were named to the Western Conference squad as reserves, but did not attend because of injuries.
