NBA: Sacramento 105, New Orleans 96

NEW ORLEANS, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Spencer Hawes ignited a key fourth-quarter run Wednesday that rallied Sacramento to a 105-96 decision over New Orleans.

Sacramento did not score for the first 4 minutes of the final period and trailed by seven before coming back to end a three-game losing streak.

Hawes, who scored nine points, made a layup to touch off a 10-0 run. A three-pointer by Bobby Jackson put Sacramento in front for good. Another three-point shot from Jackson gave the Kings a five-point advantage with 3:30 remaining.

John Salmons made 13 of 18 shots from the field and scored 29 points to pace Sacramento. Donte Greene, making the first start of his career, had 15. Jackson scored all of his eight points in the final period.

Chris Paul, playing on a sprained ankle, had 20 points and 15 rebounds for the Hornets. New Orleans has lost three out of four.
