NHL: Nashville 5, Los Angeles 4

NASHVILLE, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Jordin Tootoo's third-period goal was the eventual game-winner Saturday night when the Nashville Predators shaded the Los Angeles Kings 5-4.

The veteran right wing scored at 12:43 of the third, giving Nashville a 5-2 advantage.

Four other Nashville players scored once each. Right wing Patric Hornqvist had two first period assists, while goalie Dan Ellis stopped 26-of-30 shots for the Predators, who have won two of three.

LA center Jarret Stoll scored twice. Dustin Brown and Alexander Frolov scored once each.

Jason LaBarbera started in net, but was pulled after giving up three goals on 15 shots. His replacement, Erik Ersberg, stopped 10-of-12 shots for the Kings, who had won three of four.

Nashville went 2-for-3 on the power play. Los Angeles finished 1-for-6.
