NHL: Los Angeles 6, Anaheim 3

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Jason LaBarbera stopped 23 of the 26 shots he faced Tuesday, backstopping the Los Angeles Kings' 6-3 victory over the Anaheim Ducks.

The Kings' offense came from Wayne Simmonds, who got his first NHL goal in just his third game in the league, Jarret Stoll (power play), Matt Moulson and Tom Preissing, Patrick Sullivan (power play) and Alexander Frolov, who tallied on an empty net.

The Ducks, who are off to an 0-3 start, got their goals from Brian Sutherby, Todd Marchant and Teemu Selanne. Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 17 saves.
