She was beaten by Venus Williams in three sets in last year's title match.

In Saturday's other semifinal, Stosur ripped another unseeded player, American Jill Craybas, 6-0, 6-1.

Sunday, Stosur will be playing in her fourth final on the WTA Tour.

"I played very well today," Stosur said. "I didn't really do anything wrong, and just never let Jill get into it."

Her career includes 22 doubles titles.

Stosur has a 2-1 career record against Kirilenko, with the most recent coming at the 2007 French Open.

The Kirilenko-Stosur winner will claim $22,900.
