MLB: Philadelphia 3, Florida 2

MIAMI, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Shane Victorino and Greg Dobbs both had two hits and one RBI Saturday to lead Philadelphia's 3-2 win over Florida.

The win broke Florida's franchise record nine-game winning streak and gave Philadelphia a one-half game lead over the New York Mets in the National League East.

One of Victorino's hits was a fourth inning solo homer, his 14th this season.

Chase Utley hit a third inning RBI single for the Phillies, who made the most of five hits in the seventh win in their last ten games.

Winning pitcher Joe Blanton (3-0) surrendered two earned runs and four hits in five innings with two walks and nine strikeouts.

Closer Brad Lidge, the last of five pitchers, recorded his 39th save by striking out the side in the bottom of the ninth.

Florida scored both its runs on John Baker's third inning double.

Alfredo Amezaga had three of the Marlins' seven hits.

The losing pitcher was starter Anibal Sanchez (2-5).
