DENVER, Aug. 7 (UPI) -- Wil Nieves and Willie Harris had two hits and two RBI Thursday when Washington completed a doubleheader sweep with its second straight 6-3 win at Colorado.
Both players hit two-run doubles in the nightcap. Lastings Milledge followed a two-homer performance in the opener with two hits and one RBI in Game 2, matching Emilio Bonifacio.
Winner Odalis Perez (5-8) gave up two earned runs and six hits in six innings, while Joel Hanrahan -- who picked up a save in the opener -- got another save in the nightcap, his third save this season.
Colorado's Garrett Atkins had three hits, including a two-run first-inning homer and an RBI single in the seventh. Troy Tulowitzki added two hits for the Rockies, who are 4-6 in their last 10 contests.
Losing pitcher Ubaldo Jiminez surrendered six earned runs and eight hits in five innings.
