Jayson Werth also knocked in two runs, Jimmy Rollins one, and a run scored on a third-inning wild pitch by Philadelphia starting and losing pitcher Vicente Padilla (10-4) -- as the Phillies lost for the ninth time in 10 games.

The winner was starter Cole Hamels (8-5).

Brad Lidge recorded his 19th save in as many chances, despite a shaky ninth-inning.

Texas' Michael Young and Ian Kinsler had three hits apiece, with Young belting a two-run homer in the first. Four players, including Kinsler, had one RBI each for the Rangers, who fell to the Phillies Friday night but have won four of their last seven.

Padilla, a former Phil, lost for just the second time in his last 11 starts.
