ARLINGTON, Texas, June 17 (UPI) -- Josh Hamilton hit his 19th homer of the season and scored twice for the Texas Rangers, who posted a 7-5 victory Tuesday over the Atlanta Braves.
Vicente Padilla (9-3) got the inter-league win after allowing two runs -- one earned -- on two hits in six innings. He walked two and fanned four for the Rangers, who have won just two of their past five.
Milton Bradley, who owned an American League-best .329 batting average entering Tuesday' game, had a single and two runs batted in before leaving with a strained left quadriceps in the third inning.
Tim Hudson (7-5) was roughed up for six runs on six hits in 4 1/3 innings for Atlanta.. Brian McCann had a three-run homer for the Braves, while Omar Infante hit a solo shot.
