MLB: Chicago Cubs 7, Toronto 4

TORONTO, June 15 (UPI) -- Ted Lily gave up just a fourth-inning single in six scoreless innings Sunday to pace the Chicago Cubs' 7-4 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.

The veteran southpaw's lone drawback was his five walks, which led to a high pitch count (110 in six innings). Lilly (7-5) struck out six batters.

Already leading 3-0, Chicago scored four times in the top of the seventh to make its lead 7-0.

Designated hitter Derek Lee had two hits and three RBI. Aramis Ramirez hit a two-run homer in the seventh.

Kosuke Fukudome had one RBI, while with his fourth straight two-hit game, Jim Edmonds also had one RBI for the NL Central-leading Cubs, who rose to 20 games above the .500 mark (45-25).

Toronto's Gregg Zaun hit a two-run homer in the eighth. Two others had one RBI and Joe Inglett had two hits for the Blue Jays, who have lost three of four.

The losing pitcher was starter Jesse Litsch (7-3).
