TORONTO, June 15 (UPI) -- Ted Lily gave up just a fourth-inning single in six scoreless innings Sunday to pace the Chicago Cubs' 7-4 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.
The veteran southpaw's lone drawback was his five walks, which led to a high pitch count (110 in six innings). Lilly (7-5) struck out six batters.
Already leading 3-0, Chicago scored four times in the top of the seventh to make its lead 7-0.
Designated hitter Derek Lee had two hits and three RBI. Aramis Ramirez hit a two-run homer in the seventh.
Kosuke Fukudome had one RBI, while with his fourth straight two-hit game, Jim Edmonds also had one RBI for the NL Central-leading Cubs, who rose to 20 games above the .500 mark (45-25).
The losing pitcher was starter Jesse Litsch (7-3).
