VIENNA, June 6 (UPI) -- Austria's Martin Wiegele is one of six players at 7-under-par 64 after one round of the Bank Austria golf tournament in Vienna.

Wiegele joined Australia's Scott Barr, Sweden's Pelle Edberg and Christian Nilsson, Gary Murphy of Ireland and India's Jeev Milkha Singh atop the leaderboard at the Fontana Golf Club.

"I am very pleased with that," Wiegele said after he equaled his best single round, despite bogeys on the last two holes. "To play well in Austria in front of such a great crowd and with players like Michael Campbell and David Howell makes that round one of the best of my career."

Italy's Emanuele Canonica and New Zealand's Peter Fowler share seventh place at 6-under 65.

The first round was postponed Thursday after torrential rains forced officials to deem the course unplayable.

The tournament has been reduced to a 54 holes, with more imclement weather in the forecast.
