MLB: Tampa Bay 11, Baltimore 4

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., May 24 (UPI) -- Evan Longoria hit two homers and knocked in six runs Saturday to help Tampa Bay clobber Baltimore 11-4.

His three-run homer capped a four-run first inning and his two-run blast completed a five-run second. He also hit a sacrifice fly in the fourth, giving Tampa Bay an 11-3 advantage.

B.J. Upton had four hits, two RBI and scored three times.

Carlos Pena had two runs, three hits and three RBI, while Carl Crawford had three runs and two hits for the Rays, who have won four of their last five games.

Winner Edwin Jackson (3-3) escaped after giving up four hits and walking five batters for three earned runs in five innings.

Baltimore got Luke Scott's two-run homer in the top of the third and one RBI each from Guillermo Quiroz and Jay Payton.

Quiroz had two of the five hits for the Orioles, who have dropped three straight.

The losing pitcher was starter Jeremy Guthrie (2-5).
