MLB: Houston 7, San Francisco 3

SAN FRANCISCO, May 13 (UPI) -- Hunter Pence's sacrifice fly in the seventh inning Monday provided the go-ahead run in Houston's 7-3 victory over San Francisco.

Lance Berkman knocked a 3-1 pitch over the left-center-field wall for his 13th homer this season for Houston.

The late-inning offense negated the efforts of Giants starter Barry Zito, who gave up three runs in the sixth inning after holding the Astros scoreless for five frames. His no-decision left Zito with an 0-7 record.

The Giants got their three runs on RBI doubles by Fred Lewis and Omar Vizquel, and a John Bowker homer.

The win went to Roy Oswalt (4-3), who went eight innings and retired the final 14 batters he faced, and the loser was Vinnie Chulk (0-1).
