MLB: Houston 5, LA Dodgers 0

LOS ANGELES, May 11 (UPI) -- Chris Sampson and two relievers combined on a three-hit shutout Saturday, allowing the Houston Astros to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-0.

The winners scored three times in the top of the first inning on Carlos Lee's sacrifice fly and Darin Erstad's two-run double. Miguel Tejada added a two-run single in the third.

Michael Bourn and Lance Berkman had two hits apiece for the Astros, who have won five of their last six games.

Sampson (2-3) yielded three hits in seven scoreless innings. Willy Wright and Oscar Villareal both pitched one scoreless inning.

Three players had one hit for the Dodgers, who have dropped three in a row.

Losing pitcher Chad Billingsley (2-5) was charged with five runs -- four earned -- and six hits in five innings.
