MLB: Chicago White Sox 8, Seattle 4

SEATTLE, May 11 (UPI) -- Brian Anderson's three-run homer in the top of the second inning jump-started the Chicago White Sox' 8-4 victory at Seattle.

His first homer this season was followed by an RBI double by Orlando Cabrera and a two-run blast by Carlos Quentin in the same inning. Quentin had three hits and three RBI.

Nick Swisher had two hits and one RBI, and Joe Crede added two hits for the White Sox, whose winning streak grew to three in a row.

Winner Javier Vazquez (4-3) surrendered four earned runs on six hits in 5 2/3 innings with a walk and six strikeouts.

Seattle got a solo homer in the fourth and a two-run single in the sixth from Adrian Beltre.

Jose Lopez added a sacrifice fly in the sixth and Kenji Johjima also had two hits for the Mariners, who suffered their second five-game losing streak this season.

The losing pitcher was starter Jarrod Washburn (2-5).
