MLB: Chi. Cubs 7, Washington 0

WASHINGTON, April 26 (UPI) -- Derek Lee drove in three runs and Carlos Zambrano hurled seven scoreless innings Saturday in the Chicago Cubs' 7-0 win at Washington.

Lee hit an RBI single in the top of the first and a two-run double in the second.

Mark DeRosa and Aramis Ramirez both had two hits and two RBI and Ronny Cedeno had three hits for the Cubs, who avoided their first three-game losing streak this season.

Zambrano (4-1) gave up five hits with four walks and five strikeouts to raise his career record against Washington to 6-2.

Michael Wuertz and Jon Lieber both pitched one scoreless inning in relief.

Felipe Lopez had two of the six hits for the Nationals, who have lost seven of their last 10 games.

Losing pitcher Matt Chico (0-5) was charged with five earned runs and eight hits in four innings with two walks and five strikeouts.
