MLB: Arizona 5, San Francisco 4

PHOENIX, April 23 (UPI) -- Brandon Webb hit a two-run double Tuesday to aid his own effort on the mound in Arizona's 5-4 win over San Francisco.

Webb (5-0) went six innings, giving up three runs on nine hits and two walks. He struck out seven. Chad Qualls, Tony Pena and Brandon Lyon gave up just one run over the final three innings for the Diamondbacks, who have won six of their last seven.

Arizona also got two RBI from Chris Snyder and Mark Reynolds scored twice.

Barry Zito (0-5) was nicked for five runs on six hits, lasting just 3 2/3 innings. The Giants' bullpen staunched the hemorrhaging with Keiichi Yabu, Vinnie Chulk and Tyler Walker combining for 4 1/3 scoreless innings.

Fred Lewis drove in two runs and scored twice for San Francisco. Bengie Molina added three hits for the Giants, who have dropped two straight and five of their last seven outings overall. Randy Winn had two hits and knocked in a pair of runs.
