MLB: Toronto 11, Baltimore 3

BALTIMORE, April 15 (UPI) -- The Toronto Blue Jays, led by David Eckstein's three hits, three runs and one RBI, trounced the Baltimore Orioles 11-3 Tuesday.

Aaron Hill hit a three-run homer for the Blue Jays. Alex Rios had two RBI in the win, and Vernon Wells had a pair of hits, a run scored and a run batted in. Matt Stairs had two RBI and Marco Scutaro scored a pair of runs.

Shaun Marcum (2-0) got the win by giving up two runs on four hits in 6 2/3 innings.

Nick Markakis, Adam Jones and Melvin Mora each hit solo home runs for the Orioles.

Steve Trachsel (1-2) gave up five runs on five hits in 2 1/3 innings. He had been unbeaten in seven career starts against the Blue Jays prior to Tuesday.
