MLB: Cleveland 2, Oakland 1

OAKLAND, Calif., April 6 (UPI) -- Cleveland's Cliff Lee held Oakland to four hits and a run in 6 2/3 innings Sunday and the Indians nipped the Athletics 2-1.

Asdrubal Cabrera pushed home one Cleveland run and Ryan Garko drew a walk to send in the other, both with the bases loaded in the seventh inning.

Lee (1-0) struck out four and walked one.

Travis Buck drove in the Athletics' run with a sacrifice fly in the third inning.

Joe Blanton (0-2) was the loser, allowing seven hits and two runs in 6 2/3 innings.
