Edwards speeds to victory in Texas

FORT WORTH, Texas, April 6 (UPI) -- Carl Edwards won for the third time this season Sunday, racing to a Samsung 500 victory over Jimmie Johnson at the Texas Motor Speedway.

The win was the 10th of Edwards' sprint cup career.

Edwards took the lead for good with 107 laps to go.

Kyle Busch, Ryan Newman and Denny Hamlin finished 2-3-4.
