CLEVELAND, April 3 (UPI) -- Fausto Carmona allowed a run on four hits over seven innings Wednesday, sending Cleveland to a 7-2 win over the Chicago White Sox.
Carmona (1-0) walked one and struck out four in helping Cleveland open its season with two straight victories over Chicago for the second straight year.

Grady Sizemore had three hits with a triple and scored twice to pace the 10-hit Cleveland attack.
Javier Vazquez (0-1) surrendered four runs on five hits in five innings.
Cleveland stranded 11 batters and turned three double plays.
