NBA: San Antonio 96, Milwaukee 94

MILWAUKEE, March 2 (UPI) -- Manu Ginobili sank a go-ahead jumper late in the fourth period Saturday to help the San Antonio Spurs edge Milwaukee 96-94 for their eighth straight win.

Ginobili finished with 30 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals -- and he forced a critical turnover by Milwaukee guard Charlie Bell with eight seconds left.

Tony Parker had 26 points and five assists and Michael Finley added 11 points for the Spurs, whose last loss was 98-90 at Boston Feb. 10.

Michael Redd led Milwaukee with 25 points and four assists but six turnovers. Andrew Bogut registered his 27th double-double this season with 17 points and 15 rebounds.

Mo Williams scored 13 while Desmond Mason added 12 with eight rebounds for the Bucks, who have split their last four contests.

Redd missed a pair of potential game-tying free throws with less than two seconds remaining.
