NEW YORK, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Anaheim right wing Teemu Selanne was selected the top of three NHL players of the week, the league said Monday.

Joining Selanne in the weekly NHL honors were goaltenders Miikka Kiprusoff of Calgary and Martin Brodeur of New Jersey. Performances from games Feb. 18-24 were considered for Monday's honors.

Selanne piled up five goals and two assists in the Ducks' three-victory week. Anaheim is 9-1 since Selanne returned to the lineup. He had one goal each against Colorado and St. Louis and capped the week with a hat trick and two assists in a 6-3 victory over Chicago. It was his 20th career hat trick and gave him 546 goals for his career, moving him into 25th place on the all-time NHL goal chart.

Kiprusoff was 3-0 last week, giving up 0.67 goals a game and saving 100 of 102 shots on goal. Two of the contests were one-goal affairs, including a 1-0 shutout Sunday of Minnesota.

Brodeur posted four wins in helping the Devils into first place in the NHL Eastern Conference. He leads NHL goaltenders with 35 wins this season.
