NHL: Chicago 6, Los Angeles 5 (OT)

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Patrick Sharp had two goals and an assist including the game-winner in overtime Saturday when the Chicago Blackhawks overcame Los Angeles 6-5.

The winners had a 5-1 lead after two periods but surrendered four goals in the third. Los Angeles' Anze Kopitar tied it 5-5 with his 27th goal this season with 15 seconds left in regulation.

Sharp also scored in the first period (power play) and has 29 goals this season. Jonathan Toews, Andrei Zyuzin and Jason Williams all scored once.

Brent Seabrook and Robert Lang had two assists each while Patrick Lalime yielded five goals on 39 shots for the Blackhawks, who have won five of their last six games to maintain faint playoff hopes in the Western Conference.

Los Angeles got one goal each from Peter Harrold, Michael Cammalleri, Tom Preissing and Patrick O'Sullivan.

Kopitar had two assists while Dan Cloutier and Erik Ersberg combined to give up six goals on 36 shots for the Kings, who have lost four of five.
